About the role

As the Performance and Employee Engagement Program Manager at Cyncly you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing performance programs and initiatives that drive employee engagement, development, and organisational success.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create strategies that align with our company’s goals and values, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Main Responsibilities:

Design and Implement Performance Programs:

  • Develop and implement performance development frameworks, tools, and processes that support employee growth, development, and goal alignment.
  • Cultivate a culture of feedback by integrating regular, constructive feedback loops into performance management practices.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to establish clear performance expectations, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for all employees, leveraging our OKR structure and further educating our teams on how to best create objectives and drive key results.
  • Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on performance management best practices, feedback techniques, and performance improvement strategies.
  • Partner closely with People Business Partners to drive better alignment and execution of our performance and feedback philosophy across Cyncly.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of performance programs, making data-driven recommendations for enhancements and improvements.

Drive Employee Engagement Initiatives:

  • Develop and execute employee engagement programs, events, and initiatives that promote a positive work culture and foster a sense of belonging and inclusivity.
  • Conduct surveys, focus groups, and feedback sessions to assess employee satisfaction, engagement levels, and organizational climate.
  • Analyse employee feedback and engagement data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities to enhance employee experience.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop strategies for recognising and rewarding employee contributions, promoting teamwork, and enhancing employee morale.

Foster Manager and Leader Community Development:

  • Facilitate the development of a vibrant manager and leader community within Cyncly, fostering collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and mentorship opportunities.
  • Design and deliver leadership development programs, workshops, and forums that empower managers and leaders to support their teams effectively, drive performance, and foster a culture of trust and accountability.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers and leaders in navigating performance challenges, conducting meaningful performance conversations, and developing talent within their teams.

Enhance Employee Value Proposition (EVP):

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Cyncly’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP), ensuring alignment with the company’s mission, values, and strategic objectives.
  • Identify key drivers of employee satisfaction, engagement, and retention, and develop strategies to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Leverage employee feedback, market insights, and industry trends to refine and strengthen Cyncly’s EVP, positioning the company as an employer of choice within the industry.

Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience 7+ years in designing and implementing performance management and employee engagement programs in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of performance management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to drive decision-making and measure program effectiveness.
